How do I upload my files to my account?

To upload files to your server, please follow the simple instructions below.

 1). First, you will need an FTP program. If you do not have one, we recommend you downloading WS_FTP. Please click here to browse other FTP Programs available.

2). Once you have installed the program, and you are ready to log onto your account. It will ask you for the following information. It will ask you for a hostname, simply put in the IP address that was assigned to you, if you have lost your IP address, you can simply put your domain name for the hostname, for example X-Servers.com. Next, you will need a user id, simply put your user id in there. Your user id is usually your account name, for example X Servers.

Next, you will need your password, simply place your password in the password box. And for the server type section. Simply put manual detect. Once you have filled in all of that information, we suggest that you click on the save button, so you will not have to enter this information any more. Once all of those operations are done, please click on connect.

 3). Once you have clicked on connect, it will take you any where from 10 seconds to 1 minute to connect, depending on your connection, and how busy the server is. Once you are logged on, you will see a number of files and folders. Simply double click on the "www" folder, and upload all of your files into there. And you are done.
